Description: Focuses on intersections between literature and scien- tific discourse. Considers how popular notions of sci- ence inform the production and reading of the literary text. Topics may include the function of power in sci- entific discourse, the politics of alternative universes, and science and gender. Course is repeatable as con- tent changes to a maximum of 8 units.
