Description: Focuses on intersec- tions between literature and scientific discourse and considers how popular notions of science inform the production and reading of the literary test. Topics may include the function of power in scientific discourse, the politics of alternative universes, and science and gender. (Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 8 units.)
