Description: Introduces basic tools for using data to make informed managerial decisions under uncertain- ty. Addresses modeling, performance evaluation, and optimization of systems with uncertain parameters. Topics include Markov chains, Markov decision processes, and probabilistic linear and dynamic pro- gramming. Applications are drawn from operations, finance, marketing, and other management fields.
