Prerequisites: CHEM 001A or CHEM 01HA; CS 010; MATH 046; PHYS 040B; or consent of instructor

Description: Covers the for- mulation of mathematical models for engineering sys- tems; applying mass, momentum, and energy bal- ances to derive governing differential equations; solv- ing equations with the use of spreadsheets and other software packages; and fitting linear and nonlinear models to experimental data.

Credit: Credit is awarded for only one of ENGR 118 or ME 118.
