Description: A study of the fundamentals of computer design. Topics include the performance evaluation of microprocessors, instruction set design and measurements of use, microprocessor implemen- tation techniques including multicycle and pipelined implementations, computer arithmetic, memory hier- archy, and input/output (I/O) systems.
