Description: Introduces the major camps in ethical theory - utilitarianism, deontol- ogy, virtue ethics, and feminist ethics. Applies these theories to critically examine contemporary issues in bioethics. Includes stem-cell research, assisted repro- ductive technologies, contract gestation, maternal-fetal conflicts, genetic and pharmacological enhancements, access to health care, and physician-assisted suicide.
