Description: Critically examines and theorizes the histor- ical impact and legacies of U.S. conquest and colo- nialism in the Philippines. Analyzes the origins of Filipino American civic existence and its links to histo- ries of U.S. racial formation, racialized industrializa- tion, and racialized frontier warfare. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
