Description: Critically examines and theorizes the historical impact and legacies of U.S. conquest and colonialism in the Philippines. Analyzes the origins of Filipino American civic existence and its links to histories of U.S. racial formation, racialized industrialization, and racialized frontier warfare. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
