Description: An analysis of cell, tis- sue, and organ structure and function in normal and diseased conditions. Topics include the musculoskele- tal, circulatory, and autonomic nervous systems; glands and hormones; body fluids and the kidney; digestion and absorption; and pharmacology and hematology. BIOL 161A, BIOL 161B, BIOL 171, and BIOL 171L provide a one-year sequence in vertebrate and human anatomy and physiology.
