Description: Covers basic skills necessary to create three-dimensional digi- tal images and models. Introduces presentation options, including computer-based and inkjet printing. Examines the relation of this “new” medium to tradi- tional sculpture. Software covered may include Maya, 3D Studio Max, and Lightwave 3D. Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a letter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or examination.
