Description: Covers basic skills necessary to create three- dimensional digital images and models. Emphasizes tech- niques for polygon and curved-surface modeling and photore- alistic image creation through material shading, texturing, and lighting. Introduces basic scripting methods to create complex modelsandimageswithAutodeskMayaorequivalent.Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a letter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or examination.
