Description: Examines the theory and empirical evidence for models of corporate financial policy. Includes analysis of new issues of securities, asset sales, recapitalizations, stock repur- chases, and the market for corporate control (tender offers, mergers, proxy fights, and corporate voting rights). Emphasizes critical evaluation of the evidence for different models of corporate financial policy.
