Description: An inten- sive analysis of the effects of various corporate finan- cial policy decisions on the value of the firm, including a discussion of the effects of taxes, bankruptcy costs, and agency costs on these decisions. Examines the interrelation of financing policy with executive com- pensation, leasing, hedging, and payout policies. Provides an understanding of the theoretical issues involved in the choice of these policies.
