Description: Introduces the fundamentals and applications of biosensors. Topics on enzyme-, whole cell-, tissue-, and antibody/antigen-based elec- trochemical, optical, and piezoelectric biosensors for applications in bioprocess monitoring and control, environmental monitoring, and health care are cov- ered.
