All assignments are due before class (12:10pm) unless otherwise stated.

Paper review

Please read the assigned paper before each class and write a one-paragraph to half-page review. The review should not be merely be a summary of the paper, but should contain your opinion on the paper. For example, some questions to stimulate your thinking are:

concisely, what was the key insight of the paper?
which parts of the paper did you appreciate the most?
were there any arguments made by the authors that you disagreed with?
were there any portions that were unclear or merit further discussion?
what would you ask the authors if you had the chance?
