I received my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong in 2017 . Currently, I am a Ph.D. student of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in University of California, Riverside. I am a member of the UCR Networks, Systems and Security Lab and work under the supervision of Prof. K. K. Ramakrishnan and Prof Laxmi Bhuyan.
Under the supervision of Dexter Chan, Cedric Quanch, and Hichem Ben Kheder, I worked on several PnL and regulatory projects. Some of which required interfacing the pricing engine with bond positions and static data while others required controlling user-access to trading books for in-house software solutions.
Developed a Discrete Event Simulations to emulate an IP over optical network to study the cost and performance impact of SDN deployment. We emulated the network edge as Central Offices Re-architected as a Datacenter and the CORONET fiber-optic backbone.
Worked on behavioral PIN authentication techniques using acoustic emanations collected during ATM PIN entry. We compare various pattern recognition techniques to discern users (defense) and entered keys (attack).
