Prerequisites: STAT 170; graduate standing; or consent of instructor
Description: Introduction to common statistical concepts and methods for analyzing time-to- event data. Topics include survival and hazard functions, censoring and truncation, Kaplan- Meier estimator, log-rank test, Cox proportional hazards model and partial likelihood, variants of Cox model, and alternatives to Cox model.
