Description: Surveys the primary theoretical and empirical issues in the study of human rights. Explores major themes and contemporary topics, including, but not limited to, cultural relativism, the evolution of the human rights regime, and the impact of globalization, domestic, and international institutions. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 8 units.
