Prerequisites: graduate standing; consent of instructor; appointment as a teaching assistant or an associate in Mechanical Engineering

Description: Topics include effective teaching methods, such as those involved in leading discussion sections and preparing and grading examinations, and student-instructor relations in lower- and upper-division Mechanical Engineering courses. Required each quarter of teaching assistants and associates in Mechanical Engineering. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 12 units.
