Description: Explores the key structures of analytic number theory. Addresses the theory of the Riemann zeta function: functional equation, analytic continuation, and zero-free regions. Illustrates application to the prime number theorem. Considers the Mellin transform and other Dirichlet series, including Dirichlet L-functions.
