Description: Studies Riemann surfaces and their origins, analytic and meromorphic functions on Riemann surfaces, the topology of surfaces, and calculus on surfaces. Also covers the Laplace operator and Hodge theory on Riemann surfaces, the Riemann-Roch formula, the uniformization theorem, and other selected topics.
