Description: Provides a multidisciplinary perspective on the development and diversity of contemporary American Indian identities including the question of who or what counts as “Indian,” and why. Topics include historical and contemporary perspectives from political, ethnic, cultural, and legal standpoints from both American Indian communities and wider United States society.
