Description: Examines literature as a mode of community formation and method for shaping political consciousness. Consists of case studies of historical moments when literature mobilizes community or political action. Specific case studies will vary. Includes contemporary and historical examples. Course is repeatable as content or topic changes to a maximum of 12 units.
