Description: Considers how literary form and rhetorical effect are used by fiction writers, activists, and others wishing to mobilize action in relation to climate change. Includes study of how literature reflects cultural attitudes toward nature and environment. Draws examples from a range of genres and historical periods. Course is repeatable as content or topic changes to a maximum of 8 units.
