Description: D. program in Education; graduate standing; or consent of instructor. Introduces descriptive statistics and fundamentals of statistical inference in educational research. Topics include sampling theory, normal and z-distributions, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, central limit theorem, t-tests, correlation, simple regression, and chi-square.
