Description: Examines a brief historical genealogy of Ethnic Studies as a field of study. Provides opportunities to broaden content and pedagogical knowledge of Ethnic Studies approaches in K-12 school settings. Reviews the existing empirical research of the inclusion of Ethnic Studies literacies and pedagogies in U. S. public schools.
