Prerequisites: graduate standing

Description: Introduces recent advances in biomimetics, biomineralization, and bio-inspired materials for nanostructures, as well as for energy storage and conversion applications. Students who present a seminar receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 18 units.
