Description: An introduction to the ecology of forest ecosystems. Explores modern research and management in the field. Topics include major forest types within California, tree physiology, forest soils, forest population and community dynamics, wildfire, and forest management. Includes combination of indoor laboratory, field labs, and field trip to local forest.
