Description: Introduction to mathematical modeling and model calibration. Focuses on modeling with ordinary and partial differential applications in solid and fluid mechanics as well as biology, chemistry, and engineering. Topics include reaction kinetics equations; population models; parameter estimation; sensitivity analysis; modeling elastic, viscoelastic, plastic materials, and fluids; and cellular automata.
