Description: Introduction to the study of public history and the use of oral history, narratives, written sources, photographs, material culture, and other documentary evidence important to presenting historical information and interpretation to a large audience. Analysis of archives, museums, government agencies, familial sources, and other historical repositories that hold community voices. Students present public history by producing an exhibit, published work, or community project.
