Description: Engages critical social theories of race. Focuses on state-mediated technologies of power and domination. Emphasizes analyses of race, racism, and white supremacy that conceptualize their historical constitution of statecraft and nation-building processes. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeatable as content or topic changes to a maximum of 12 units.
