Description: Survey and analysis of cinematic works by and/or about Asian Americans. Topics include studies of forms and genres; viewing and interpretive practices; the conditions of production, distribution, and reception; as well as thematic concerns such as history and memory, the politics of identity, community, social justice, gender, and sexuality.
