Description: An in-depth analysis of a selected television genre. May include history of the specific genre across time periods or may focus on a specific time period. Combines screenings of episodes and scholarly readings about the medium. Topics include aesthetics, political economy, and cultural critique. Course is repeatable as content or topic changes to a maximum of 8 units.
