Description: Examines how literature represents experiences of displacement caused by colonization, migration, state violence or civil unrest, incarceration or internment, natural or human-made disasters, and other factors. Texts may include fiction, poetry, life writing, or visual media. Includes writers and texts from one or more countries or geographical regions. Course is repeatable as content or topic changes to a maximum of 8 units.
