Description: Introduces historical and current issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in K-12 schools. Focuses on improving the awareness of values, biases, and perspectives associated with various identities of diverse children and families. Focuses on developing culturally sensitive interventions through in-class exercises, videos, discussions, and experiential exercises.
