Description: Explores developmental, environmental, and other influences on the behavior of young children. Topics include principles for observing children, creating positive environments encouraging appropriate behavior, and effectively addressing many types of behaviors. Discusses proactive intervention and prevention techniques promoting positive teacher relationships with young children are discussed. Outside observations required.
