Description: Examines fundamentals of separation processes used to isolate and purify biochemical products such as whole cells, enzymes, food additives, and pharmaceuticals. Covers selected aspects of biochemical engineering such as microbial interactions, economics, and mathematical modeling of bioprocesses.
