Description: Uses a case study of Mexico City (formerly Tenochtitlan) to introduce Latin America’s urban history. Illustrates through murals, mausoleums, pyramids and park show how the connections between art, architecture, and the natural environment (earthquakes, lakes, smog, volcanoes) underpin life and experience in the megalopolis.
