Description: Explores new fields of artistic creativity emerging from the convergence of sound and image. Focuses on audiovisual and multimedia composition, as well as on the collaboration process embracing research, composition, and performance. Encourages exploration of the links among sound, image space, environment, and digital media. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) by students advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D.
