Description: Provides the Materials Science & Engineering graduate student with career experience as an engineer in an industrial or national lab setting. Includes fieldwork with an approved professional individual or organization and academic work under the direction of a faculty member. Requires a final report. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 16 units.
