Description: Investigates the intersection of sustainable practices, development pressures, and gender in the Global South. Explores nonwestern concepts of sex/gender and nature as epistemological resources in addressing the impact of climate change on livelihoods and social organization. Asks how sustainability theory and practice can be transnational and socially inclusive.
