Description: Combines geophysical and geochemical principles to constrain formation, composition, structure, and dynamics of solid Earth from core to crust. Begins with building Earth from solar system materials. Investigates core formation and continental crust creation. Explores geophysical and geochemical consequences of plate tectonic processes.
