Description: Covers the formal, historical, and theoretical analysis of culture in its broadest sense. Includes popular literature, the mass media, and the interplay between “low” and “high” or peasant and elite cultural forms. Topics may be drawn from any historical field. Course is repeatable as content or topic changes to a maximum of 12 units.
