Description: Covers the synthesis, purification, and characterization of inorganic and organometallic compounds. Examples involve air-sensitive species in solution, as well as inorganic materials such as metal-organic frameworks and polymers. Techniques include inert atmosphere synthesis, crystal growth and X-ray diffraction, infrared and UV-vis spectroscopies, heteronuclear and variable temperature NMR, and cyclic voltammetry.
