Description: Examines critical terms and concepts central to Black study and its connection to Black becoming, Black aliveness, and Black life. Topics include anti-blackness, the fungible, fugitivity, slavery’s afterlife, neoliberalism, miserablism, social death, microaggressions, Black spirituality, the dark feminine, Trans and Queer epistemologies, unfreedom, interlocking oppressions, racial capitalism, and Black rhetoric.
