Description: Develops conceptual methods and experimental practical techniques for making video and time-based artworks through assignments and self-directed projects. Includes support of production through critique, discussion, and exposure to contemporary artists and theorists. Explores time-based media’s expanding critical role in contemporary art and society. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 8 units.
