Prerequisites: PSYC 001, PSYC 002, PSYC 011, and PSYC 012 with grades of “C-” or better; upper-division standing; consent of instructor
Description: Individual internship in nonclinical psychology fieldwork. The student spends three hours per week in a prescribed combination of academic activities and internship for each unit of credit. Students keep a weekly log and write a summary of the internship experience. Students who complete additional assigned reading and submit a substantive term paper receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 16 units.
