Description: Conducts a broad overview of the international political economy of labor in both historical and contemporary context. Critically examines scholarly theories of labor in the context of capital mobility, global value chains, foreign direct investment, national and international institutions, international law, corporate governance, workers’ movements, global unions, and labor transnationalism. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 12 units.
