Description: A study of surficial processes related to the development and evolution of landforms and landscapes at the Earth’s surface. Examines weathering, erosional, and depositional processes in a variety of landscapes (tectonic, volcanic, arid, karst, fluvial, glacial, coastal, anthropogenic, planetary, etc.). An emphasis is placed on processes and landscapes important to California.
