Description: Examines historical and cultural meanings of homosexuality, heterosexuality, sex, and gender. Explores the historical experiences of LGBTQ students, teachers, and faculty from the early 20th century to the present. Explores current issues regarding LGBTQ students and teachers, including the California requirement to incorporate LGBTQs into the K-12 curriculum.
